Thursday, May 13

Saints of God, the Lord be with you! Today we celebrate the solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord. I like to think of this as another aspect of Easter: because of Christ, human nature, risen from the dead is now part of the God-head. It doesn’t get more optimistic than that. Our mission as Christians is to proclaim this Good News through our words and deeds.
