Daily Reflection: Friday, May 14

Friday, May 14

Saints of God, the Lord be with you! Today is the feast of the Apostle Matthias who was chosen by lot to replace Judas Iscariot.  Some may say he was a “second stringer” or a “back bencher.” But there are none of these to Christ. We are all first string, and all sit in the front row. And each of us has a mission: to reveal to the world the Risen and Glorified Christ.
