Today, at Mass we read from the Book of Sirach, the 8th Week in Ordinary Time. This book of the Bible was written centuries before Christ and contains much thoughtful wisdom for us. This book is often not included in Protestant Bibles. I quote: “Give to the Most High as he has given to you, generously, according to your means. For the Lord is one who always repays and he will give you back sevenfold.” Remember this every day.  There is more that I will quote later this week.
