Daily Reflection: Thursday, September 28

Thursday, September 28, 2023 – 25th Week in Ordinary Time https://bible.usccb.org/bible/readings/092823.cfm

Today’s response comes from Psalm 149. The New American Bible entitles this psalm Praise God with Song and Sword. It is a hymn inviting people of Israel to celebrate their God in song and festive dance because God has chosen them and given them victory. God has chosen us to be his child whom he loves dearly. A God you gives us gifts freely each day. It is because of our sinfulness that we are unable to see this gifts from or to give thanks and praise to God. Today pray a prayer of praise and thanksgiving for all that God has done for you. Also pray for the graces to be able to see the gifts God has given you each day.
