Daily Reflection: Saturday, September 30

Saturday, September 30, 2023 – Memorial of St. Jerome, Priest and Doctor of the Church

Our response is taken from the Book of Jeremiah Chapter 31. In verse 10 we read, “The One who scattered Israel, now gathers them; he guards them as a shepherd his flock.” This can reminds us of Psalm 23:1 “The Lord is my shepherd there is nothing I lack.” Shepherds guard their flocks carefully; sheep are everything the shepherd families needed to survive. God guises like a shepherd who carefully guides, protect and love us.
