Thursday of the Twenty-Seventh Week in Ordinary Time

If you then, who are wicked, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?  (Lk11:15)

I wonder if we understand what the Father gives us.  We think human thoughts, not God thoughts.  God gives us the best, ultimate and only thing we need, the Holy Spirit.  But, do we get it?
