Saturday of the Twenty-Seventh Week in Ordinary Time

…Blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it.  (Lk 11:28)

We rejoice to hear the word of God.  It fills us with light and hope.  And we thank God for it.  But hearing is only the beginning.  It is living and doing the word that brings the blessing and a full life.
