Daily Reflection: Saturday, March 30

Saturday, March 30 Holy Saturday

Jesus is laid in the tomb but it isn’t over. In Jesus’ life there are no “dead ends” but new beginnings and new hope. This is our hope. In the evening we celebrate the great Vigil of Easter with fire, candles, renewal of our baptismal vows, confirm the unconfirmed and all the joy that comes from Christ risen. No greater love is there than Jesus who laid down His life for us and who lives again. This is what is offered us not just tonight but everyday. Christ is risen, Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia!!!

Fr. Andrew
