Friday, March 29 Good Friday

Why is this “good?” The goodness of God shown in Jesus occurs as He “lays down His life.” Following Jesus on the Way of the Cross and taking time to ponder what happened at each Station, renews our conviction that following this Jesus is indeed our calling and no matter what happens in our life, our crosses will not defeat us just as Jesus’ cross did not defeat Him. We hear frequently: “Take up your cross and follow me.” Do we?
