Daily Reflection: Thursday, April 25

Thursday, April 25

The First Letter of Peter says: “Clothe yourselves with humility in your dealings with one another, for ‘God opposes the proud but bestows favor on the humble.’ So humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. Cast all your worries upon him because he cares for you.” Humility is a positive virtue and helps us to know ourselves with our strengths and our weaknesses and that we are important to God. The quote from the Letter of Peter helps us know that it takes honesty to be humble.
