Daily Reflection: Monday, June 27

Monday, June 27

The following of Jesus is not always easy. Some days we are rather easy and other days less than that. In today’s Gospel, Jesus is tough in how he responds to some who say that they will follow him…but not now. We generally don’t see Jesus this way, but he has the ability to be compassionate and kind when it is needed and also to be firm when it is needed. We are people that need both and need to know when to be compassionate and when to be firm in dealing with others. Pray for the ability to know what is best when you find yourself in a difficult situation.

Fr. Andrew
