Yesterday, we learned that God desires to be in a deep loving relationship with us. In our gospel reading Jesus tells his disciples, “Whoever wishes to come after me must deny oneself”. There are many obstacles that block us from our relationship with our God. It is normal to have things that block us from God, because of our limited human nature. This is why God has given us the gift of the Holy Spirit. Today take a few minutes to list 3 things that block your relationship with God and pray to the spirit to help you to remove them.
