Daily Reflection: Saturday, October 28

Saturday, October 28, 2023 – Feast St. Simon and St. Jude, Apostles https://bible.usccb.org/bible/readings/102823.cfm

According to LTP Companion to the Calendar, tells us the following about this feast day. We know very little about these two Apostles. Tradition maintains that St. Simon the Zealot preached missions throughout Persia and Egypt and martyred in Persia. St. Jude is also known as Thaddeus. He is the patron saint of hopeless causes. He also martyred in Persia.

Today’s response to the psalm is “Their message goes out through all the earth”. That message is not their own personal message, it is God’s message of Love. How are you called to be a messenger of this Divine Love?
