Daily Reflection: Thursday, November 2

Thursday, November 2

How fitting it is for us to set aside a day to remember our loved ones and friends and all the deceased. They continue to influence us and teach us so many things

Jesus said “I am the resurrection and the life.” God has called them home so that they may share in Jesus’ resurrection. “For the faithful, life is changed not ended” we hear in the Preface for the Dead. They have completed their work on earth and now enjoy a new life freed from the pain and misfortunes and anxiety of life here on earth. The Book of Wisdom says: “the souls of the just are in the hands of God and no torment shall touch them.”
