Daily Reflection: Monday, November 27

Monday, November 27

Today’s Gospel from Luke tells of the wealthy and the poor making offerings to the treasury. They have a surplus and she has practically nothing. Jesus commends her for her generosity, giving her “whole livelihood”. Generosity can be manifested in many ways and even in ways that we may not think about- use of our time, sharing our good given abilities and talents, even thoughtfulness. The Lord helps us decide what we are able to dd and how to do it generously.
