Daily Reflection: Thursday, November 30

Thursday, November 30

The great feast of St. Andrew is celebrated today. He pointed out Jesus to Peter and remained with the apostles before going forth to bring the good news of Jesus far and wide. Andrew, like Jesus, died on a cross but it was not the same

type of cross that Jesus died on. It was a cross in the shape of an “X”. He did not believe that he was worthy to die on the same type of cross that Jesus did. “Andrew, walk with us on our daily journey. Give us your strength and courage to spread the Good News.”

Fr. Andrew
