Friday, December 1

We hear in today’s Gospel: “…when you see these things happening, know that the Kingdom of God is near.” What does St. Luke mean? There are many signs of God’s presence among us in our world in spite of the many tragedies around us. The tragedies seem more numerous but a careful attentiveness to day to day live helps us to see the kind, thoughtful and strong signs of the love that people have for each other. We are invited in making God’s kingdom near by what we do each day and each day has many opportunities.
