Daily Reflection: Saturday, December 2
Saturday, December 2
Today is the last day of the Church Year. It is a day to look forward to Advent and the promise of the coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. People long ago had hopes and dreams of what the Messiah would bring. We have experienced Jesus in our lives and we continue to have hopes and dreams for ourselves and for others. Today, say a prayer of thanks for the fact that God has looked kindly on you and blessed you. Even though there are many distractions during Advent, ask the Lord to keep you focused what is important these weeks. Come, Lord Jesus!
