Daily Reflection: Tuesday, January 25

Tuesday, January 25, 2022 – Feast of The Conversion of St. Paul the Apostle

Today’s celebration and readings are rich with a lot one could reflect on.  I am going to give you two reflections. Today we celebrate the conversion of Saul on the road to Damascus.  We know that Saul persecuted early followers of Jesus.  It was difficult for Saul now known as Paul to gain the trust the members of the Church. Reflect on: am I open to allowing people to have a conversion and accept their new self?  And welcome them into the community?

In our gospel reading, Jesus sent the eleven to proclaim the Good News. “Jesus appeared to the Eleven and said to them: “Go into the whole world and proclaim the Gospel to every creature.”
