Daily Reflection: Monday, March 13

Monday, March 13, 2023 – 3rd Week of Lent

Today’s gospel reading from Luke, we hear how Jesus was rejected in his hometown of Nazareth.  The town’s people were guilty of placing Jesus into a box and unable to truly listen to him, to accept him for who the person he became. Lent is a time to work on our relationship with one another.  Are there family members who we have placed into a box? People who we hold their past action against them, therefore, unable to see the transformation within them. Today pray for the grace to be able to see those people for who they truly are in God’s eyes.
