Daily Reflection: Thursday, March 16

Thursday, March 16, 2023– 3rd Week of Lent

“Thus says the Lord: This is what I commanded my people: Listen to my voice; then I will be your God and you shall be my people. Walk in all the ways that I command you, so that you may prosper.” These are the first two sentence from our first reading from the Prophet Jeremiah. Lent is the time to deepen our relationship with God, to make our relationship right.  Listening is an important part of all relationships.  It is a key ingredient. Today take 5 minutes and ask the Holy Spirit to help you to truly listen to God; so you may become more the child of God you were created to be.
