Daily Reflection: Saturday, May 18

Saturday, May 18, 2024 – Seventh Week of Easter

Today we read the last section of the gospel of John. Peter is questioning Jesus about the disciple who Jesus loved. He asked what about him? We could read Peters question in a number of ways. When I first read it, I thought Peter might be jealous about this disciple who Jesus loved. Jesus response tells Peter and us to, we are not be concerned about who Jesus loves and what gifts that God has given them. We are to love one another.
