Daily Reflection: Tuesday, September 20
Tuesday September 20, 2022
“My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and act on it.” Our actions speak more loudly than our family connections. Jesus is not denigrating his mother but is telling us that we will not be judged on anything except how we respond to God’s word in our lives. Hopefully our family of origin will do for us what Mary and Joseph did for Jesus – raise us to be open to the way God speaks to us every day.
