Daily Reflection: Wednesday, November 2

Wednesday, November 2

The whole month of November is devoted to those who have “gone home to God.” This day is a particular day on the church calendar for them. They still are part of our lives, in our memories, our thoughts and our hearts. They will always be with us. A special Mass this evening remembers our recently deceased: pictures of them are placed in the sanctuary for the month and a prayer card is created with their names. The Book of Wisdom says: “The souls of the just are in the hand of God…and they are in peace.”
