Daily Reflection: Monday, November 21

Monday, November 21, 2022, The Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary

In today’s Gospel reading from Luke, we read: “I tell you truly, this poor widow put in more than all the rest; for those others have all made offerings from their surplus wealth, but she, from her poverty, has offered her whole livelihood”.  This is very challenging for us to read. We believe that all we have and who we are, are a gift from God. Still, we give only small amount to God.  We all make worldly things the center of our lives.  Today, pray for the graces we need to make God the center of our lives.
