God Bless, Fr. Scott Brookbank!

This weekend we bid farewell to Fr. Scott Brookbank. Fr. Scott is now the Clinical & Pastoral Care Coordinator at St. Bonaventure University within the Office of Student Affairs. In this new position he is able to continue to serve as priest as well as use his background and experience in counseling. When this position became available, it seemed like the perfect fit for him as it is a great blend of his gifts and talents.

St. Bonaventure University is located about an hour southeast of Buffalo, New York. Since Fr. Scott was raised in the Rochester, New York area, he won’t be far from home, and it will make it much easier for him to visit his parents and family.

Fr. Scott has served us well and will be greatly missed. Please join us for the Farewell Mass for Fr. Scott at 11:30 AM today and/or for the reception that will immediately follow the Mass in the Brant Beach Church Hall.

I also invite you to join me in prayer for our brother, Scott, as he continues to journey forward toward the Kingdom.

May God continue to bless him with peace and all good.
