Wednesday August 23
“Are you envious because I am generous?” Matt 20: 15
God’s generosity should be so ingrained in our hearts that we never question it. God became poor in order to be with us in our human condition. Jesus gave up his very life so that we might know how much we are loved. We are fed with the Body and Blood of Jesus in the Eucharist and have God’s Spirit available to us at all times. We are gifted on a daily basis with God’s presence in each other, and in the beauty of creation!
Let us remember always to be thankful for God’s abundant generosity to us!
