Daily Reflection: Tuesday, February 20

Tuesday, February 20, 2024 – Tuesday of the First Week of Lent

Lent is a time to work on our relationships, our relationship with God and others. In today’s gospel, Jesus tells us when praying we are not to babble. Reflecting on this, our world is full of noise. Noise from human made materials and noise found in nature. Also, we have “noises” in our heads, our thoughts, and worries. If we are making noise, we are not listening and if we are not listening, we are not getting to know the other person. Today, take some time to sit in silence to listen to God.
