Daily Reflection: Friday, March 1

Friday, March 1

Today’s readings describe the cruelty that comes from jealously. The story from Genesis about Joseph and his brothers is a clear example of this. Greed is the reason in the Gospel why the tenants beat and killed the servants. Unfortunately these are temptations that can sneak into one’s thinking and then acting. Keeping a good perspective and a good attitude are so important and relying on the Lord and knowing his love for you helps develop this. We need to be aware of the negative forces that can so easily sneak into anyone’s life. What are those that influence you?

Fr. Andrew
