Daily Reflection: Thursday, March 7

Thursday of the Third Week of Lent

But if it is by the the finger of God that I drive out demons,

then the Kingdom of God has come upon you.     (Lk 14:20)

Some people just can’t take yes for an answer.  Jesus’ adversaries were always looking for a way to say that the good that Jesus did was not good.  They would rather be adversaries than accept him in all his goodness along with the beautiful life he offers.  Jesus is the great Yes of God and we want to be Yes with him.  The Kingdom of God is upon us.
