Daily Reflection: Monday, March 28

Monday, March 28

The words of Isaiah the prophet are encouraging as we begin this Fourth Week of Lent. He says: “Lo, I am about to create new heavens and a new earth. The things of the past shall not be remembered or come to mind. Indeed, there shall always be rejoicing and happiness In what I create…No longer shall the sound of weeping be heard here or the sound of crying…” We say to God, “When Lord will this happen?”  I believe that the Lord will say: “It will happen when people recognize their evil ways and repent.” Today’s world is in need of such a change because we have seen and continue to see what evil has done and is doing. Don’t give up praying for this “new earth.”
