Daily Reflection: Saturday, April 2

Saturday, April 2

As we get closer to Holy Week, we hear more readings where there is a division among the people about Jesus. Some believe that he is the Prophet, the Christ; others expect someone from a different background. His opponents are even thinking of arresting him. How does Jesus endure all this? He stays focused- focused on his mission, focused on healing, forgiving, accepting others, listening to the cries of the poor. With so much negativity surrounding him, Jesus continues doing what he believes the Father wants him to do. Noting will stop him. ‘O lord, my God, in you I take refuge.”
