In our first reading from the Book of Exodus, we read about the birth of Moses.  Moses who has a very important purpose in our salvation history.  He is also an important person in Jewish history.  He was not your typical leader for his time.  He goes against how his society characterized a political leader. We need to be reminded that God uses people who are not valued by our society.  Therefore, we need to see all people are valued by our loving God.
