Today’s Parable catches our attention because of the twist that it takes. It concludes: “Many are invited, but few are chosen.” Yes, even today many are called but not all choose to come. The Lord has prepared good things for us but many choose to stay unconnected and go their own way. So many people today raised as Catholics drift away because their focus is on other things, many of them very important but they leave God out of their day to day lives. We have to be people constantly inviting others to “taste and see the goodness of the Lord.”
