Daily Reflection: Thursday, July 4

Thursday July 4

Paul’s letter to the Philippians tells us: “Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” As we celebrate our independence as a nation, let us take these words to heart and give praise to God for the way these values should be present in our country. Let us always be grateful for all we have received and for all we are called to be.
