Daily Reflection: Friday, June 10

Friday, June 10

Where is the Lord to be found? The Book of Kings says: not in the wind, not in the earthquake, not in the fire…but in a tiny whispering sound. That’s why we may have difficulty in “hearing” the Lord because there is too much going on: noise, confusion, false expectations. Sitting quietly at times is what we need. Remembering that we live and move and have our being in God’s presence can allow that quiet presence to be our strength.
