Daily Reflection: Friday, December 2

Friday, December 2

Jesus meets two blind men in today’s Gospel who ask Jesus to have pity on them. He asks them: “Do you believe that I can do this?” It seems that they were faithful men because they responded “Yes, Lord.” “And their eyes were opened.” Advent is a time for us to have our eyes opened wider and our hearts strengthened because we know of the Lord’s closeness to us. Don’t let this opportunity pass you. Come, Lord Jesus!
