Daily Reflection: Tuesday, December 6

Tuesday of the Second Week of Advent

If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them goes astray,

will he not leave the ninety-nine in the hills

and go in search of the stray?   (Mt 18:12)

Sheep are one thing, but a brother or sister in Christ is something more.  How far would I go to find a stray and bring them back?   Would I think about writing them off?  And will I be happier to have them back than if they never wandered.  God give me a generous heart!
