“My house shall be called a house of prayer for all people.” Isaiah 56:7
God’s call for unity among all peoples refers not only to the ‘house of God’ but to God’s community. The community of believers is not limited to those who see themselves as chosen. The universality of God’s call exceeds any boundaries we may want to impose. All are welcome in God’s house and we are to be the gracious ones who meet everyone at the door!
