Tuesday, December 20, 2022 – 4th Week of Advent

Today’s gospel reading is the angel Gabriel visit to Mary, announcing the birth of the messiah. Yesterday’s gospel reading an angel visited Zechariah announcing the birth of his son, John the Baptist. In each visitation the angel told Mary and Zechariah, “Do not be afraid”.

If an angel of the Lord came for a visit, what fear would the angel ask you to hand over to God? Pray for the graces the trust in God’s mercy and no longer live in fear.
