“Let the children come to me and do not prevent them…” is in today’s Gospel. How important it is to convey a positive image of Jesus to our young ones. Pictures of Jesus surrounded by children are so important in introducing children to Jesus. There is much more to teach them later. We are fortunate here at St. Francis to have Family Religious Education that supports parents as the first and primary teachers of their children about God and God’s place in our lives.
