Daily Reflection: Monday, January 29

Monday, January 29, 2024 - 4th Week in Ordinary Time

King David although he was appointed king by God, and was a holy man, still was a sinner and make mistakes. In our first reading, we see how people were not happy with his actions and they lashed out David. We too, are sinners and at time our actions are going to cause others to curse us and lash out. During these times, we have to remember, just as our psalm response tell us, God is our shield and out protector, if we own up to our sins and repent. God is always there to protect us and help us to stand up when we fall.
