Wednesday, July 17

The response to the Psalm at today’s Mass is “The Lord will not abandon his

people.” Throughout history many have strayed away from the Lord and many

forget about God’s place in their lives. Many do not understand that the Lord is

kind and merciful, waiting for us to return. The Lord has given each person a

dignity and an importance that no one can take away. This is how Jesus looks at

us and why he acted the way that it did. Thank the Lord for this.
