Daily Reflection: Thursday, July 18

Thursday, July 18

Those who are ill will find a friend in St. Camillus de Lillis. His life was rather wild

in the beginning, but after suffering a painful wound as a soldier of fortune and

spending time at a hospital in Rome, a new chapter of his life began. Conditions at

hospitals were terrible at this time. He was responsible for bringing about

changes in these conditions. He believed and taught that each person should be

treated as if they were treating Christ. Today, say a prayer for someone that you

know is ill.
