Daily Reflection: Tuesday, January 10

Tuesday January 10

Jesus taught ‘as one having authority.’ We know that Jesus attracted followers by his being and his words. His personal experience of God drew people to him because he spoke from his own intimate knowledge of God. When we speak about the things of God, what we say only carries weight if it flows from a life with God, a life sustained by time spent in God’s presence. And our words only speak as loud as our actions. May we speak from our hearts by our actions and may our words be instruments of God’s life and love.
