Daily Reflection: Saturday, January 28

Saturday, January 28

The great theologian, St. Thomas Aquinas, is remembered today. His writings guided the church for many years, especially during turbulent times. Today’s Gospel tells of the disciples caught in a violent squall while Jesus was asleep in the boat. They woke Jesus and it was enough for him to rebuke the winds and everything returned to a peaceful calm. St. Thomas’ writing came from a faith filled man to help others have a strong faith. “Lord, help my unbelief. Show me your way.”
