Daily Reflection: Tuesday, July 23

“Here are my mother and my brothers.  For whoever does the will of my heavenly Father is my brother, and sister, and mother.”   (Mt 12:50)

The circle disciples must have been surprised to hear Jesus call them his family.  Their relationship with Jesus was intense.  We may envy their intimacy with the Lord, but we don’t need to.  Doing the Father’s will is for all of us.
