Daily Reflection: Wednesday, July 24

To whomever I send you, you shall go;
whatever I command you, you shall speak.
Have no fear before them,
because I am with you to deliver you, says the Lord.
(Jer 1:7)

Jeremiah thought he was too young for the job, but the Lord said no.  It is not unusual to feel unqualified, even when we are called.  It is an act of faith to go, nonetheless, and to do what God asks.  It is not about being the most qualified; it is about God’s will.  The Lord has our back.  The Lord will use us.  Believe it.
