The parables of the buried treasure and the pearl of great price tell us of the value of the Kingdom of heaven. When discovered, nothing else matters – we, with great joy, are willing to let go of what we held dear and embrace it. Our search is over – our journey complete. May we be open to finding the treasure that is waiting to be found – the pearl that is lying in wait for our discovery.
