Daily Reflection: Thursday, October 10

The following words from the Gospel for today are very familiar to us: “Ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you…” At times we may become frustrated because we have done exactly what is contained in the previous sentence. We want things to happen quickly, now. Many times our requests may take time to happen or may happen in a way we did not expect. Patience and an openness are two important part of praying. How are you with these two attributes?

Fr. Andrew
